Hello,I just got a Acer Aspire 3 laptop, the model is A315-31-C6D4,for the first time I used it for word proccesing, social media,YouTube playback, you know, stuff like that.

Then I tried some light games, but because the Intel HD Graphics 500,with 128 MB of vRAM,I can't play them unless I use 800x600 resolution, with everything turned at the lowest.

Can you please tell me where can I find a motherboard for this kind of laptop? I saw the models and some had some very good CPU's,if you can find a more powerful one, please tell me where to buy it,thanks in advance.

Only place I have used before is eBay. If you can find one you are likely going to pay $150 to $200 for the motherboard. And while the models look the same it still might not fit.

If I were you I'd consider buying a better model like the A315-51 which I see for under $400 on eBay, then swapping your hard drive (or cloning it over) and selling yours. When all said and done you might be able to get the upgrade for a net $200.

As a general rule, laptops can't be upgraded or are not cost effective to do so. I have replaced CPU's and used the opportunity to upgrade but I have never been able to go from a low end CPU to a high end one in a laptop.
Even if you find a motherboard from a similar model with better CPU and GPU, it is unlikely it will fit.
You mentioned other models with better specs, do you have examples? Maybe this range of laptops is an exception (although a quick Google search doesn't yield any laptops in this series that are high end)

Hello.
I am very sorry for the late answer.
I will say a liitle list of the relative good models, first of all we have the : Aspire 3 A315-21
Aspire 3 A315-51

Sorry if I can't list more. There are same models with that name but with different specifications.
