You are getting 2400 single stick RAM, 1st gen Ryzens really do a lot better with 3200mhz and RAM should always be used in dual Channel (meaning for 8GB buy the set sold in 2 4gb sticks) for best performance. Again I would really advise against the first gen Ryzen, the 2nd gen is just better, unless you are getting some insane deal on the price.

As far as cooling if you're going to be putting any real overclock something like the Cryorig H5 or be quiet! Dark Rock 4

Bump up to the the 2700 or 2700x which I know is better then the 1800x for gaming. But if gaming is your main concern then Intel beats AMD easily. Either the 8600k, 8700 or 8700k will pull out ahead of Ryzen.

Ryzen offers a better price per performance and usually better productivity performance. But Intel still reigns on top for gaming due to stronger single core performance.
