need help with first build.

Ive read on a couple of posts that the cpu cooler can sometimes cover ram slots resulting in having to use low profile ram sticks. Im wondering if this cooler and mobo fall into that group or not. This is my first time building a pc so any and all suggestions are greatly welcome.

Sweet rig, I'd throw in another $20 and get the K model 4790K, even if you don't want to OC now, a few months down the road the ability is there and it's like a free CPU upgrade 😉

I was actually considering the K but I dont have anyway to update the mobo bios. The asus mobo from the factory isnt compatable with the K.

Im guessing the bios 0401 is the factory version? It says for the 4790k that it needs bios 0609.
