For most single gpu systems, 550-650 is fine. If you think 2 gpu's are in your future, I'd go 750-850 tops.
Here are some really good PSUs at each power level, they're all full modular, they're all Tier 1. Just think which fits your budget, and your future plans. A really good PSU and case, can be the foundation for many rigs to come.
