Need Help With Folder-Pictures (not saving permanently)

I like to keep all my movies organized so I had the idea to have the DVD cover of each movie on the folder as a folder picture, I spent a good few hours on downloading the cover, putting it in an "ICONS" folder in documents, selecting it as a folder picture and applying... But the next day i was ready to watch a nice movie but the icons had changed to the default folder icon..

I think the problem might be cache of some kind...

I would much appreciate if someone could help me! 😀

I am trying to use folder "pictures", not "icons".. but thanks anyways! 😉
