Need help with GPU choice

Alright, i'm getting a mid-high end GPU.

I want to get an i5 processor, buuuut I also want to get a AMD radeon 7850.

I'm being told that pairing intel and AMD radeon is a bad idea because of bottlenecking that would occur?

Is this true? How sever will the bottlenecking be?

No it is not true. Whoever told you that doesn't know what he's talking about/wants to get more money from you. HD 7850 will work beautifully with i5 .
