Need Help with Gpu issue

I am having an issue where when the pci-e is plugged in to my gpu the computer starts up but doesnt display on the monitor. But as soon as i unplug the gpu everything works and the monitor displays.

Also, where do you connect your vga/dvi/hdmi cable in these scenarios?

Sounds like you don't have your monitor connected to the graphics card but the motherboard instead.

At the moment i have my vga cord plugged in but it doesnt plug in to the gpu. This also happens no matter what cable i plug in whether its into the gpu or not.

It looks like that card does not have a VGA output. Can you tell us what outputs it does have? If there is a DVI-I output you can grab a simple DVI to VGA adapter and that should work.
