Need help with graphic card

Hey, i have a BIOSTAR GF7025-M2 TE Motherboard and my question is that: Can i insert a new videocard into it? For example a GTX1080Ti? Or it will not going to work?

Yes, a 1080 ti would likelyl work in that board. However whatever AM2 CPU you have in that board is not even going to come close to fully utilizing a 1080 ti in really anything.

You think so? I still think any AM2 CPU would hold back a 1080 ti even at 4k.

Yea, no. An AM2 CPU is going to lock a GTX 1080 Ti way down. It doesn't matter what resolution you use. Even with multiple 4K monitors, I doubt the system will be able to handle the 1080 Ti at even 50% usage.

I would recommend a switch to ryzen or a modern intel platform. Either option would require a new CPU, new motherboard, and DDR4 RAM.
