I pulled a 160 GB hdd from my ps3 because it wasn't working properly. I've been able to get it found in my BIOS (not every time strangely enough) but not in windows. The computer I had before this was an old optiplex and, using an IDE to SATA adapter, was able to find it in Disk Management, however no matter how many times I tried I couldn't reformat it, it took WAY too long.
My current system specs:
Mobo= Gigabyte Z87MX-D3H-CF Haswell
Processor= Core i5 4670K Socket 1150 LGA
Memory= 8GB
OS= Windows 7 Ultimate SP1
Please help me!!!
P.S. when the drive is connected on my new system, windows 7 lags PAINFULLY. Hopefully that helps a bit.
