Need help with intel cpu and motherboard. $200 Budget

Alright so I'm making a build and I really want a intel build. Right now for my CPU I have a Fx-6300 and for my motherboard I have a ASRock 970 Extreme3 R2.0 ATX AM3+. Could I get an intel build for around $200 that is better than the one I have right now. I am willing to go up to $250 Max but that is really it. Thanks.

I think with that budget you're probably going to be looking at about the same performance as you currently have. Maybe someone else will be able to give you a little more insight.

Nothing is wrong with the rig I am planning to buy. Right now I plan on getting a 7950 then upgrade to a gtx 770 later on. Just always liked intel a bit better than amd.

Ah. Well on that budget you may as well go with the FX 6300, IMO. Nice GPU choice too.
