Need help with internet

So I moved into a new house, got a new router and new internet provider. My computer is connected to the router through the cable while all the phones and laptops are through wifi. Everything worked for a week and no nothing connects to wifi. Only my computer works with the cable. All the phones and laptops and xbox one, all of these cannot connect. I can see it in wifi but it is very very week and when I try to connect it connects and then disappears and connects again, but just does not work anywhere. Please help asap.

I assume the router was provided by the new ISP. Contact them to have it replaced.

That's what Ill try and do in the morning, but I had it for a week and don't see why this happened. Maybe there is a fix

Sometimes, things just quit working right.

Question: Can the router overheat? Because after my Wifi went down I checked on it and it was hot and is now making a hissing noise.

first of all make sure your router is brodcasting..on the bottom of it from the isp is it ssid name. make sure your devices can see it. use your desktop and log into the router and do a reset. then go back and reset your ssid and wep/wpa and see if the devices work. a few tips...if there are more of the same routers near by and they have the green one button set up on them when someone uses that one button set up all the same units within range cnage be changed. also they use the same admin and password name so it does not take a lot for someone to log in and change your settings if you dont change the admin and password of the router. also on the router some isp now have guest ssid you have to turn them off if your in a condo or near a min street or you have leaches.

A router should not make a hissing noise. Something has gone wrong with the parts inside it.

Get it replaced by your ISP.

I have reset all of the following and nothing really works. I think the hissing sound might be related. I hope I can just change the router under the warranty

Yeah factory faults are covered by warranty. You will not get any trouble. They must replace your faulty router.
