So I need help with the power supply and figuring what I plug in where. The manual does not seem to say a whole lot and it's got me stuck as a first time builder. I have a Z390 AORUS PRO WIFI and a Corsair RM750x Fully Modular.

1. My 24 pin motherboard cable. The side that plugs into the power supply looks like this: View: https://imgur.com/a/dYBpqj3

Do I plug in BOTH of these ends into the power supply?

2. For my cpu power into the motherboard. My motherboard has a 8 pin and a 4 pin, which one do I plug in to the motherboard? Heres a picture of the motherboards top left side. View: https://imgur.com/a/VXEUIOi
Do I just go with the 8 pin on its own? Or do I need both?

3. Where exactly does cpu power cable plug into on the power supply? Heres what the back on the power supply looks like. View: https://imgur.com/a/yePdSmP
The labelling of '6+2PCIe & 4+4 CPU' on the power supply confuses me. I have highlighted in blue where I think I could plug the cpu into. I can just plug it into either one of these? And I have highlighted in green I will plug the gpu in, again I can just pick either one?

Thank you and sorry for the dumb questions. The manual for the power supply isn't helpful in showing me where exactly everything goes and i'm deathly afraid of frying something.

1| Yes they go to the PSU end.

2| Your PSU has 2x 4+4pin EPS connectors so you should be able to connect both the 8 pin and the 4 pin EPS on the board. Wait, are you on the RM750x v2 or the prior version? The prior version only had one 4+4pin EPS connector. If so, you're going to need to connect the 8pin EPS on the board.

3| Corsair's site is down for maintenance so I can't lookup the manual or the product in detail.

Thank you very much for your help. I have booted into the bios and all peripherals seem to be showing up correctly. Time to install windows.
