sorry i know this is for pc builds but who better to ask my question to :). im trying to send in my mail in rebates to newegg and i have to send the upc codes or serial # that came with the box, can i send a zerox copy of the shipping label or does it have to be the lable that came with the box? i only ask this bec if for any reason i have to RMA anything ill have to send the label back, i cant do that if i sent it out for the mail in rebate. thank you for anyone able to help, never done this before and dont wanna mess it up.

Solution
No you have to cut the upc out for the rebate. The specifically say that you can't send in copies of the upc. Therefore I recommend you test the product before sending the rebate in. If it breaks afterwards you would have to send it in for warranty service.

If you are talking about the receipt, you have to print the invoice from the newegg website or your email. They usually dont accept shipping labels as a substitute for the invoice

yea you can get into bios without the hdd and OS. You can even run some tests off a boot disk. For example Ultimate Boot Disk
