Question need help with motherboard connector

need help with motherboard connector i am looking to buy this x79 motherboard - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/X79-LGA-...m2ac0e24deb:g:RKwAAOSwEGBcMx1F&frcectupt=true

but the problem is it has two connectors i have an 8 pin connector but on that board it has what looks like a 6 pin connector and 8 pin

The 8 pin is standard CPU power. The 6 pin, is PCIe supplemental power. But considering that no manufacturer is listed, I would be concerned about drivers and BIOS support. IF there were a manufacturer listed, you could go find the manual on-line. With the brand of "Unbranded", you are on your own for any info or support.

Without a manual, that is unknown. Usually it is optional. It would depend on the graphics card(s) you are installing and things like that.
