Hi my name is James and I am having some serious trouble finding a wiring diagram for the Dell 0KWVT8-A02 LGA 1150 socket chipset Intel Haswell Z87.
Its a dell XPS 8700 desktop with a AMD radeon R9-270 2gb with a i-7 4770 3.40ghz processor
I bought a new Phantom 410 mid case and I have been searching for the last week looking for a wiring diagram to hook up the power switch, HDD led, power led and reset switch.
I have searched the internet, Dell's site, you-tube and about a thousand other sites. If someone could just point me in the right direction I would appreciate it beyond measure.
Thank you for your time and help.

Solution
I think you were looking in the wrong place, I found pinout for XPS 8300, which can be identical to XPS 8700

And similar but messy

The cables should have labels on the connector saying what they are for, ie. POWER LED, RESET, SPEAKER, e.t.c. Is your wondering where to plug in the cables from there well, it should be labeled on your motherboard and if not in you motherboard manual. If you no longer have the manual for your mobo find it on the manufacturers webpage and you should be able to view it from there.

Not for Dell.

To OP, I don't want to repeat myself, look here and compare your connector, may be the same, if not follow instructions in quote. http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2762123/connecting-power-power-led-reset-hdd-led-dell-inspiron-3847.html

Sorry it took me a day to respond. Had a power outage in my are. The pics were right on target. My desktop is up and running. I can not thank everyone that responded to my call for help enough especially Kisianik. Your pick was right on target. I followed your hand drawn diagram and it booted right up with no errors or issues.
I searched dells site and even posted on dells forum and got no results. I actually did run across the pin out for the XPS 8300 but I was a little weary about using it. I don't have a clue why I didn't just come to the experts on Tom's hardware in the first place. Everyone that answers the call for help from the less informed such as myself are truly selfless individuals who deserve to be honored in some way. You save people like myself thousands of dollars in replacement systems and parts damaged from trial and error.
THANK YOU KISIANIK !!!!

You are very welcome, glad it worked.

P.S. Do you remember where you seen the pinout you just mentioned, as I am trying to collect all Dell pinouts.

Yes I do remember. I did a search through bing looking for the diagram for my motherboard. Some pics showed up in the search so I went through every one of them. All 400 of them. In them is some pics of technical specs of other motherboards made by dell as well.
Here is the link for the pic I found and it should also bring up the reset of the pics showing the technical specs I mentioned too.
If you have trouble with the link let me know and I will upload it for you as well.
