So I bought the Zowie FK1 yesterday and it's been a bit hard getting used to it from my old mouse but I understand that and it's getting more an more comfortable so I have no problems there. I initially set my Hz to 1000 but after reading a bunch I've seen a lot of people say 500 is more consistent etc. I know the difference isn't huge but I would like to make the right choice. I have a pretty good pc (i5-4690k 3,5gHz processor - 8gb ram etc..) so I don't think it would cause CPU problems. Should I just go with 1000hz or 500hz? I tried both and couldn't find a big enough difference but I would like to get used to the better choice. Thank you :)

I never got the point of updating the mouse 1000 times a second when the monitor only updates 60 times per second. I couldn't tell the difference so I set it to 500hz to free up cpu processing time. I know the savings is negligible but it's more useful then position updates that I can't see anyway.

1000hz stability should be fixed in FK1 due to new Sensor and internal Oscillator, but you can check it with DIMR, or Mouserate.exe.
