Need help with my Asus x502c Notebook PLEASE

I have a Asus x502c Notebook but I'm having some problem getting it to work, at first it would just show a dark blue light up screen and 3 little lights (bulb, battery, trash can looking thing) so I seen I had to reboot the battery poking it with something sharp on the bottom and it took me to a screen with all this settings and I hit Enter and it tells me I need some kinda of hard disk or USB and it goes dark again. I have no idea what's it talking about.... HELP! Also it asks me for a User Password and General or HDD passwords
