I am looking to do my first custom gaming pc build. I already have a monitor (I plan on using my HDTV via HDMI), two hard drives (Seagate 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM and a 500GB HD as well) a standard optical drive, keyboard, mouse and speakers. I have a budget of around $700-800. I would like to be able to upgrade this build as well in the next couple months when I can buy more expensive pieces. As I said the primary use will be for gaming: Crysis 3, Skyrim, Diable III, Final Fantasy XIV, etc. I would like to be able to run these games at the highest settings this budget will allow.

Approximate Purchase Date: The next few weeks.

Budget Range: (e.g.: 300-400) Before / After Rebates; $700-800 after shipping

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, surfing the internet, watching movies

Are you buying a monitor: No

Do you need to buy OS: No

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Any online sites and local stores like MicroCenter and Fry's

Location: City, State/Region, Country - Atlanta, GA

Parts Preferences: I've heard Intel based systems are better for gaming, but I could be way off.

Overclocking: No

SLI or Crossfire: Maybe

Your Monitor Resolution: 1024x768

Additional Comments: Needs to be able to run games like Crysis 3, Skyrim, Diable III, Final Fantasy XIV.

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: I need a gaming pc, tired of consoles.

Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks everyone!

Solution
You should really invest in a new monitor... that resolution is very bad. Or you could connect the PC to your TV? Anyways, here's what I came up with: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2IB3U
I made it so that you can add a second 770 later on if you want. You could also get the 4670k instead of the 4570 but since you didn't want to overclock I went with the 4570

This build will max you out on pretty much everything for a long time if you're at that resolution. The 760 will max everything pretty much at 1080p right now.

Thanks guys for the extremely quick responses. All of these builds look great, and if they can run all the new games out there that works for me. Now I'll shop around a bit and find the best deals locally. Should I just pick a solution to close this thread?
