Hi everyone!

So I've been researching for a while now but I'm still not 100% confident.
Will everything be compatible and fit together?
Are there any parts you would recommend to change?
Do you see any issues?
Is there anywhere I could save money?

I plan to play games at 60fps, high- ultra, 1080p

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the replies. Will check out the cooler and psu.
What do you think about the GPU?
Is there anything cheaper thatl do as well as the r9 390 at 1080p?

+1
I own a cryorig H7, it is better than the evo for only 5-10$ more. On stock speeds with an i7 4790k, i idle at 29C and under load 50C max so you coud easily OC to 4.0 GHZ and further if you wish

The H7 also comes with its own thermal paste

I just had a look and agree it does look nicer and it's the same price as the evo where I live so I'll go with it. Thanks

No problem :p i hope we were helpful

I recommend you get the R9 390 Nitro card - my favorite of the 390's.

At the same price point, you get the GTX 970 which is arguably better and arguably worse. It gets better support and optimization since NVIDIA owns most of the GPU market, but only has 4GB (3.5GB) VRAM compared to 390 so the 390 will fair better at higher resolutions and in VR.

R9 390 is a slightly more powerful card in normal games, but is a beast in VR and better at higher res. due to its 8GB. GTX 970 is weaker but get better optimization. That sums it up.

Thank you for the suggestions! I've been trying to decide between the 390 and the 970 for so long and finally made up my mind on the 390. I will definitely have a look at the nitro. :)
