Need Help with my Monitor Speakers

Hello everyone. So i just bought a LG 24MP48 and I can't get the speakers to work. First up does it even have speakers because on their website I saw that it does but am I misreading something? I connected it via HDMI cable with my GTX1070 and downloaded the newest Nvidia drivers. When I open the Playback Devices menu I see my monitor listed there and the little bar to the right is jumping up and down. What am I doing wrong?

Hm, I just find it really confusing since it says "volume control" in one spot and then doesn't explain how to get the volume. It is also weird how my gpu detected it as a audio output and it appears on the system registers. I guess I will just get speaker or earphones and just stick with that.
