I have a build with a rtx 3070 and I don't think I'm getting as many frames as I should. I play at 1080p with a 244hz g sync monitor. I am running with like 150 fps in valorant, 140 in overwatch, and 110 in APEX. I play at medium settings in all these games (full screen mode) . I use to get around the same fps in the same system with a 3060 which I swapped to a 3070 and uninstalled the drivers and installed the new ones . I am thinking that maybe the problem is my CPU. I am running a Ryzen 5 2600 but it seems to do fine running at around 40 usage. My GPU usage is around 30 to 40 as well. I doubled checked that it wasnt a temperature problem problem but i seem to be running around the 40 on cpu and 60 on gpu degrees under load. I was just wondering what I could do to fix this

system specs
asus prime b450 motherboard
EVGA XC3 ULTRA RTX 3070
RYZEN 5 2600
16 GB (2X8) 3200 MHZ T FROCE RAM
240 DREVO SSD
1TB HARD DRIVE
650 POWER SUPPLY DONT REMEMBER THE BRAND BUT ITS GOLD CERTIFIED

Solution
Total cpu usage is fairly meaningless, you need to monitor all cores and threads. It only takes 1 at close to 100% to limit performance while the others can be barely used.

wow! amazing! just heard about that problem from someone else... see, the problem is, that if the VRM is misaligned, but you cannot even hear anything like a feedback, then it is really bad. Some suggest you might just as well get a new component.
