Hi all, I hope someone can help me with this one:
Back in the 80's, I played a rogue-like game that had the following
attributes:
-- Each dungeon level was within definite rectangular
boundaries (Each level was pretty small compared to Angband, Moria.)
Each dungeon level was surrounded by a rectangular wall of #
-- I remember seeing fountains (pools?) that had good/bad
effects.
-- There may have been altars as well to pray to your god.
-- There wasn't a town, or wilderness area, just hacking and
looting your way down levels in a dungeon.
I know this is not much to go on, but hopefully somebody played a game
similar to this. Let me just also say that I know it's not Rogue,
Hack, Moria, ADOM, Larn, or Omega. I can't believe the name escapes
me, and I can't believe I don't see when I peruse Rogue-like game
websites.
Can anybody please help me? Thank you.
