Hey guys, I'm in a bit of a pickle here..

I purchased a Netgear Orbi RB20 months ago to replace our crappy old ISP provided router and finally be able to reach wifi in my room. The product setup successfully but was unable to connect to the internet connection from our NBN Modem. I spent days back and forth with Netgear assistance, as well as my ISP and there was no resolution to this issue (ISP said they have done everything on their end and it is the product that has an issue; Netgear claimed failing to connect to internet was the ISP's fault).

I got so sick of the situation and left it for months cause I was simply fine to resort back to our old router setup that had no issues whatsoever, I just can't reach wifi from my room as mentioned.

I called up today (months later) and Netgear REFUSE to assist me because my phone support has extended 90 days and I am required to purchase extended assistance. Yep, they literally denied any assistance to help with their product. SO I can't return this product and am stuck with it until I can try and workout why it setup fine but won't connect to our internet. Anyone able to please help with this?
Thanks!

Solution
I've just written a major novel on my adventures with a netgear router and not being able to connect to the internet and then I saw this.
So, I'm now going to slip into my expert anorak and pretend I might be able to help here. (the netgear forum was so unhelpful to me that I'm not going to send you there).

First off, is it your router that's failing to connect to the internet or is it whatever you've got running in your bedroom that is having the problem? If it's the router, try the network reset that netgear suggests in its user manual and once you've done that reboot the modem.
If it's the device in your bedroom, do a factory reset on it and try to connect to the wifi again.

If they don't work, I've got heaps of other things I...
