So, i'm going to build myself a new gaming PC and I need your opinios on how good the PC components are. Suggestions are welcome too.

HDD:
Seagate Barracuda 3.5'' 1TB SATA3 7200RPM 64MB

Motherboard:
ASRock 970 EXTREME4, 970, DualDDR3-1333, SATA3, RAID, GBLAN, ATX

PSU:
Fortron FSP700-50ARN 700W 88+

RAM:
DDR3 Corsair 8GB (2x4GB) 1600MHz CL11

GPU:
MSI GeForce GTX 770 Twin Frozr, 2GB DDR5 (256 Bit), HDMI, DP, DVI

CPU:
AMD FX-8350

CPU cooler:
Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo

Case:
Cooler Master K(night) 380

Or should I add a MSI Z97 MATE motherboard, Intel core I5 4690k processor, but downgrade to a GTX 760 for a cheaper price?

Solution
I would change the RAM to a G.Skill series which are lower than Corsair. This is because when you install the RAM on the motherboard, you will want to have more clearance for the CPU cooler as the air coolers tend to be big and bulky.

If I was you and want the best out of gaming and budget, then go with the AMD CPU and Nvidia GPU.

For the pus, I recommend either PSU from Antec, EVGA, SeaSonic, Thermaltake or XFX. Here's a PSU tier list to assist you.

Hope this helps.
Go on with the current build, but after some revisions:
Change the RAM to 1600MHz CL9 or lower CL.
Go with ASROCK 990FX EX3 if possible, it'd be better than 970 series.
You should consider going with R9 280X to flex up the budget a bit, its as good (if not better) as 770 and $30-50 cheaper too!

What R9 280X brand would you recommend?

MSI/ Asus/ Sapphire. Sapphire has best performance but MSI, Asus and Sapphire have best cooling. MSI is the quietest.
For performance/price, I'd go with MSI Gaming 3GB R9 280X.

THB I wouldn`t recommend the MSI.
I checked two videos with the MSI card for noise test when looking for my card, and both of them had coil whine.
I now have the Asus R9 280x Matrix, and I`m really happy with it.

Well I've heard about leaks in MSI, but that has been fixed:

Also, MSI is best in cooling and has considerably less noise level. It also got the best GPU title here:

We like the MSI Radeon R9-280X TwinFrozr Gaming OC edition very much as all variables are done right, the overall aesthetics are just excellent, the cooling kicks ass and the nice the factory overclock we like very much.

Obviously the Matrix is a better overall card, but is extremely expensive compared to others, and is not worth the extra bucks IMO.

I guess the r9 280x would be a logical choice for Battlefield 4, but is the AMD FX-8350 good for BF4?

FX 8 will run it with ease, won't be a problem there.

Good to know!
Thanks for the info, so that I`ll not spream my misinformation to others.
I was lucky with my Matrix, because the DCUII Top was out of stock where I ordered it, and they offered me the Matrix for the price of the DCUII.
