Need help with new gaming PC

I want to know if this gaming pc build is good and what monitor I should get for it. My budget for the monitor is 300-400.

Seems to be a decent build although the monitor suggestions will greatly depend on what resolution you want. Wish a GTX 1080 you can play in 1440p but the Ryzen 1600 may hold the FPS back a bit. Are you looking for 1080p or 1440p? do you and a 60, 120, or 144Hz monitor?

There's not many gaming monitors at 1440p 144Hz in that price range but I was able to find 1 for $400 AOC - AG271QX 27.0" 2560x1440 144Hz Monitor. I paid 450 for my Acer 1440p 144hz 1ms response time 27 inch monitor. I will say it's well worth the price for the stunning picture.
