[SOLVED] Need Help With Older External Hard drive.

The usb part came loose and need to get data off. Need a solution... Do I need adapter. The part is wd1001fals external. Asking b/c I want to be sure on ordering the correct parts.

Seems like just a regular HDD woth a bay mounted. If the HDD hasn't failed in any way, you should be able to use it just like another secondary drive.

So just remove the green part and I can plug it straight into the motherboard? K thanks
