Need help with overclocking and pc specs about a game.

Hello.I have been playing players unknown battlegrounds and I play on medium/low settings with average fps of 40.
I have been wondering if I should overclock both my CPU and GPU or just the CPU because my hardware isn't that bad at least it shouldn't be preforming this badly.

My CPU is AMD FX 6300 paired with cooler master hyper x cooler.
GPU: RX 480 4GB sapphire nitro +
RAM:16GB 1666MHZ
MBO: Gigabyte 970A-DS3P.
PSU: 600W

Would an overclock make any difference to performance in this game?

I have 300 hours in that game and I can guarantee you that the performance you are getting is completely normal for your hardware. Fx-6300 is not good enough. Also all amd graphics cards are struggling due to driver issues. If you are strapped for cash you could pick up an older i5 or i7 and overclock it.

I would recommend overclocking both cpu and gpu still but don't expect more then 5-10 fps. This game hates amd at the moment.

I have tried today just running it at ultra with two details put to very low for pvp advantage.I am surprised that it's running at freaking same fps as to mid/low....
I'm not sure how or what but yeah.
Overclocked my CPU to 3.8 for now
