Hello everyone.

I need your help to build a desktop PC for using 3-D Modelling Software AutoCAD solidworks, ANSYS (CAE Software), as well as Medium Gaming (FC4, BF Hardline, ARMA 3, ect).

PARTS NEEDED:
1.CPU (mostly i5 3rd/4th/5th Gen?)
2.Motherboard (Suitable)
3.RAM (8 GB ddr3 single stick)
4.PSU (how much volt, amps?)
5.Cabinet/Case (Cheap One)
6.CPU Cooler (not liquid cooling, just basic fan cooler/stock cooler)
7.Anything Leftout?

PARTS I WILL BE REUSING:
1.Monitor (Samsung SA300 19")
2.GPU (Ati Radeon HD5450 1gb ddr3 (will be using it temporarily )) :D
3.HDD (1x500 GB Toshiba, 1x256 GB Sony)
4.Optical DVD Drive (Toshiba)
5.Mouse, Keyboard, Speakers
6.OS windows 8.1/10 64-bit

I live in Mumbai,INDIA.I will be buying parts locally only.
Apart from the above requirements, the system should work smoothly for next 4-5 years.
My Budget is 45K INR as mentioned in the title.
Also i will be installing Linux (Ubuntu/Gnome 64-bit in the 256 GB drive),
so will it cause any issues with win 8.1/10 ?

Also i will be adding a new GPU later when i can stretch it :D

Solution
Here is a suggestion:

22,000 CPU: i7 4790 LGA 1150
03,000 CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo
06,000 Mobo: B85M board from Gigabyte/AsRock/MSI/ASUS
06,000 1600 MHz 4 GB X 2 = 8 GB from Corsair/GSkill
04,000 PSU: 80 Plus Bronze from Corsair/Cooler Master/Antec (see below for wattage requirements)
04,000 Mid tower cabinet from Antec/Cooler Master/Corsair
-------------------------------------------------------------------
45,000 half life's half-and-half build
-------------------------------------------------------------------

Notes
1. PSU wattage depends largely on your graphics card that you will buy in the future. See the below URL for calculating the required wattage; if not sure, get something around 500 - 600 watts...

2. As a modeler, your focus should be on a high end monitor in the 24 - 27", then large storage system, followed by a high end graphics card

3. No, your OS will not cause any issues with any hardware

4. I would shop in stores in and around lamington rd. rather than online for various reasons

the prices, I got them from visiting actual stores; for a reference, you may visit this website of a company that is based in Bombay

www.primeabgb.com/

on the graphics card, it really depends on what resolution would your monitor be when upgraded;

generally, GTX 950 (new launch) is good enough for 1080p and GTX 970 for anything higher;

I've also given my answer to the thread, plus asked for help if this is wrong or right. This can also help the person who has asked first.
Replicating a thread is irrelevant, but still I've already created a thread before posting the previous reply.
