Okay so since the holidays are coming up I've been wanting to upgrade my PC and I need the cheapest compatible MoBo I can get. All help is appreciated :)

Have you already bought everything. The Core i3-8350K is identical to the i5-7600K in OC potential and performance. However, it is cheaper. If you plan to OC. You would be well advised to get it instead.

Given the price difference. It likely costs the same to get an i3-8350K plus a Z370 board as it would to get an i5-7600K with a B250 board. With a Z370 the 8350K with a B250 the 7600K cannot.

I have not bought everything yet and I'll take you up on the recommendation. I did not plan on overclocking but I may reconsider with the 8350K, thank you.
