Greetings,

Recently upgraded GPU to MSI GTX 1060 6GB and need to upgrade the monitor - Dell P2014Ht 20".

The computer is for gaming (Witcher 3 & Dishonored 2 type games), and general internet browsing and photo management.

I would like to get the best long term monitor value with G-Sync that utilizes the GPU capabilities and have researched these choices:

TN Panels 1920 x 1080

Asus ROG SWIFT PG248Q - $330 manufacture recertified Newegg, $450 Best Buy New

Acer Predator XB241H bmipr - $350 manufacture recertified Newegg

TN Panel QHD 2560 x 1440

Dell S2716DG - $480 Dell

IPS Panel QHD 2560 x 1440

Acer Predator XB271HU - $546 Ebay manufacture recertified, $770 Amazon

AOC AG271QG AGON - $620 Amazon

Thanks for the feedback.

Personally, if I had just upgraded my GPU to a GTX 1060, I would eliminate those 1440p monitors in my shortlist. I would only consider those 1440p if I had gotten a GTX 1070 or 1080 instead. The GTX 1060 *can* be used in 1440p, but, would struggle with getting high framerates especially with games such as Witcher 3. So, my choice would be limited to only those two 1080p monitors.

Between the two, I'd get the Asus ROG Swift PG248Q.

Thanks for the insight your set up is boss! I was worried about the 1440p monitors mating well with the GTX 1060. I want to get the best paring as it's my first G-Sync experience. The last monitor I bought was in circa 2005!
