Need help with price of pc

I am a 15 year old boy who recently got into PC gaming. i have my laptop which is decent but still has a hard time with big games and cant do vr. I'm planning on building a pc which will be used for vr and normal gaming mainly. i need it to be strong enough to run an oculus rist or htc vive with no problems and run games like battlefield 1 at 50-60 fps at 1440p or 1080p. the problem is i don't know how much a pc like this would cost and would like some help in looking at parts at good prices. obviously I'm going to get the oculus rift or htc vive so that will be around 700 dollars, and that's already a lot to me, so I need to find a good pc for gaming and vr at reasonable price.

Not including operating system or peripherals you can expect to spend around $600 for a machine that meets the minimum specs of the Oculus Rift. If you are trying to push higher end games like BF1 in 1440p at 60 FPS then you can expect to spend a little more.
