Hey all, so ive recently bought a GTX 960 4GB ... turns out my current PSU doesnt have a spare 8 pin connector ... bum baskests. So I figure I have two options. Firstly, buy a simple 6 pin to 8 pin connector to bridge the gap. Secondly buy a new psu.
So my questions are, how viable are 6 to 8 pin connectors, and also if I bought a new PSU, how likely is it that I will have all the cables I will need to connect to my components?
My rig consists of an AMD FX 4350, 8 GB of pretty basic RAM, soon to be a GTX 960 4GB and I run two monitors. Currently I have a 450W non-modular power supply.
