need help with PSU efficiency

What is the best PSU for this build, im going to be overclocking the cpu to 4.7 ghz but i dont know if 750w is overkill

Essentially if you're overclocking you're ideally looking to load you PSU between 50-80% load. So if your system takes up around 300-400W. You want between 600-800W PSU. Your PSU selection will work just fine for what you're looking for.

you very well may not be overclocking to 4.7ghz. no chip is straight up guaranteed to overclock even 100mhz so i really wouldnt bank on it.

as stated above 750w should be pretty ideal for your system. and its the same psu I have.

also i dont even know if its worth overclocking. the 4790k runs at 4.4ghz as standard, your 970 isn't going to be putting too much stress on the cpu

But i want to try overclocking it a bit (maybe 4.5/4.6 ghz OC)
