Need help with RAM choice

I will be getting an ASUS B-350F motherboard, Ive heard that Ryzen benefits from higher clocked RAM, however I am having difficulties finding good RAM. My current choices are

Now I believe that the Corsair ram will be down clocked to a lower mhz, something to like 2133 and would like to know if it possible to overclock it to 3000. But the first ram should stay at 2400 mhz.

Hyper DIMM support is subject to the physical characteristics of individual CPUs. Hyper DIMM is the name Asus chose for their implementation of XMP which is basically Intel technology. That means it also depends on the CPU you have or want to buy?

Out of these three the Corsair pack rated at 3000Mhz (model number CMK8GX4M2B3000C15) is mentioned in that motherboards Memory QVL list and supported. It's on Asus website here:

The other two are not on that list but that doesn't necessarily rule them out as compatible and working. As I said it also depends on the CPU.

The AMD site for that CPU specifies Max System Memory Speed as 2667MHz:

However that 3000Mhz Corsair pack is on the QVL for the motherboard and it should in theory work at 3000Mhz.

Even if it doesn't at first maybe a BIOS update to improve memory performance/stability (usually mentioned on manufacturer's website) would fix any problems.

You can search the web and see if people with similar configuration are running those RAMs at that speed or not.

In theory they should work but there are sometimes cases that go against the grain and there have been quite some cases of Ryzen boards with RAM compatibility issues.

There's and example here on Tom's forums. Asus B350F with Ryzen 7 running at 2133 by default and won't boot with settings set higher

And Ryzen 7 is also apparently specified by AMD to run RAM at 2667Mhz:

Intel systems are a bit more forgiving when it comes to RAM but apparently AMD/Ryzen systems are not. Maybe get RAM from someone and test before buying. If it's going to work at 2133 for you too might as well get the 2400Mhz pack which remember is not on the QVL.
