Alright so I'm a bit new at this but yeah here is my problem,
I was checking my RAM speed on CPU-Z and it said my Ram frequency is 667MHz which if my newby PC knowledge server me right it means my ram speed is 1333.4MHz right? Well I got CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9 Which is suppose to be 1600MHz. I searched various sites and they all say go to my Bios and set my setting to:
1.Ai Overclock Tuner-XMP.
2.Select Ram profile to the one I want.
3.Save it and I'm all done.
or set everything manually.
Thing is I'm not sure of the values I have to input.
So is that right?! Also idk if this helps but my MB is a ASRock Z77 Extreme4 LGA 1155 Intel Z77 if you need any more info on my specs let me know. Any help on how to set my Ram to 1600MHz will be appreciated.

Ok did it but Idk if it worked or not CPU-Z is giving me two different numbers on the Memory Tab it says DRAM frequency is 800 MHz but on the SPD tab the max bandwidth still says 667 MHz so which one is right or are both suppose to be the same?
Here are some pics of the Tabs
Memory Tab - http://tinypic.com/r/2qx57xv/5
SPD Tab Slot 1 - http://tinypic.com/r/m92dn5/5
SPD Tab Slot 3 - http://tinypic.com/r/2ev508z/5

Relax, you're all good, CPU-z can be very deceptive to people, I even wrote an info thread on it here:

http://www.gskill.us/forum/showthread.php?t=10565

better explained in the thread - but the memory tab will show true freq and it's DDR (DOUBLE data rate) so the 800 x 2 =1600 effective

what you see in the SPD tab is the default boot settings for when first installed - check the info thread - explanation is a little fuller, hope it helps :)

Awesome good to know I did it right. Thanks for your guys help it's greatly appreciated I wish I could give you both a medal.
