Need help with RAM

I have:
Motherboard: ASUS P8H61-M
Processor: Intel Pentium G870
GPU: GTX 750TI
RAM:4 GB

I bought some new HyperX RAM (4GBx2) and put both sticks in and replaced my old one, Only one RAM Slot is working and when I put the other one in the MemOK Light shines red??
Is my motherboard only compatible with 4GB RAM And not 8GB?

Did you try switching the sticks around? If it still has an issue it's most likely the ram, not the slot.

It's not the RAM Sticks they're brand new. I tried both of them under the one RAM Slot and the computer starts normally.
However when I put both RAM in the screen doesn't start.

It could be the RAM. DOA ram sticks aren't un heard of. Try this. Stick 1, slot 1, boot. Remove all previous sticks after each boot. Stick 2, slot 1, boot. Stick 1, slot 2, boot. Stick 2, slot 2, boot.

I tried this method and it only worked on Slot 1 with both sticks

In that case, your second memory slot is broken. You can return the 2x4gb set and get a 1x8gb set for about the same price.
