So I bought some computer components, one of them was a bundle imcluding some ram (32gb)
16gb is kingston hyperx fury but the other which Im not sure about is the kingston hyperx blu ram (another 16gb) that came with it in 8x4 sticks.

I'm trying to sell the ram but I cant find much of the kingston hyperx blu ram yet the fury is everywhere.

Also, Im not sure if its 1600mhz or 1333mhz and I dont know how I can check.

If anyone knows its price or how I can find the Mhz let me know

Thanks,

2233 isn't really a normal speed. 2133 is possible, but not according to the timings on the memory you have. The XMP profiles might have some settings that state otherwise though, but the model names are quite clear. You can take those and go find the actual spec sheets from Kingston.

Not sure what the used market is for memory. It is pretty cheap stuff compared to the CPUs and GPUs available. I imagine most people buy new, or buy CPU/Motherboard/Ram as sets.

I've put them back in and am now using CPU-Z but it is only showing the clock speed of one set of ram : the fury as its 2233mhz whereas the hyperx blu can only be 1333-1600 and I dont know how to find it from here

Here are screenshots if these mean anything

This image I belive is the specs of the fury

This image I believe is the specs of the hyperx blu

and this is it in general https://gyazo.com/439eaa1b44de7baf01f163230c7c6912

Do any of these images allow for you to see the clock speed of the hyperx blu?
I know its between 1333Mhz and 1600Mhz

Thanks,

Model numbers:
KHX1600C103/8GBX = DDR3 1600 CAS of 10 8GB
KHX1866C10D3/8G = DDR3 1866 CAS of 10 8GB

You are running 1333Mhz at 9-9-9-24 timings in that last pic. Basically this is the system default. As your memory doesn't have any settings that overlap, to use them, you would have to set the timings manually. 1600 10-10-10-27 would probably work. You can look at the JEDEC timing tables on each to see what other options they have.

So is the ram 1600mhz but running at 1333mhz?

Also, would I be able to sell the blu ram for a decent price or would I be better of selling the fury.

Also, the fury ram is at 2233mhz right?

that's a shame as I have 32gb of ram and I barely need 16! anyway, I'll give it a go with selling 1/2.

Just a stupid question, some of the ram is stuck under my Huge cpu cooler, the cooler is so wide it covers it and I dont know how to remove it without a scare of breaking the cooler?
