Need help with RX 480 driver installation

Guys,
At AMD site there are two drivers namely AMD Radeon software and AMD Minimum Setup. What is the difference between them ? Also should i install both or AMD Radeon software is enough ?

You do not need to download both, in fact that would be counter productive.

Download the full version if you just want it all and be done (what most do i assume).

Download the minimal version if you want a online installer, that will let you choose what to install.

I have read mixed opinions like you need to uninstall onboard graphics drivers before installing dedicated GPU drivers because it will conflict each other but some say just keep onboard drivers and install Dedicated GPU drivers.They wont conflict and should we run into trouble with dedicated GPU onboard graphics will be there. Im confused ! Before installing RX480 drivers should i uninstall onboard Intel graphics driver (or) should i just install RX480 drivers ? Also should i change or disable primary display in BIOS (or) its not required ?

There is no need to uninstall the existing drivers, or disable in the BIOS.
When you install the new card this will automatically disable the onboard graphics, then just install the latest Catalyst Control Center with drivers.

There is zero reason for keeping the onboard card enabled if you have a discrete card. Onboard consumes a portion of your system RAM, and being an integrated part of the CPU also slightly raises its temperature and consumption.

Simply disable the onboard card in BIOS. You don't even have to uninstall drivers - if the hardware is not present, Windows won't use them at all.

In emergency case, if your main card suddenly fails and you are left without display, you will have to clear CMOS to reset BIOS to stock settings and get the onboard activated again.

What will that achieve? The GPU in the processor is automatically disabled by installing the discrete card. It does not consume resources while disabled. All this will do is to make things more difficult if the card is ever removed. It might be different if this was an AMD CPU, but it is Intel.
