Hi, fellas.

I have seen a few similar threads, although all systems are unique so I am after a little advice.

I have a Lenovo K430 Idea center PC. It is a little old, however, it is a little powerhouse too. Especially considering I paid pennies for it.

Specs;

I7 - 3770 3.4ghz
16gb Ram
2TB Hard drive
GT 660 Graphics card

I have gotten into streaming and gaming. My usual games CSGO etc run fine, plus age of empires, however I want to play Witcher 3, Dead by daylight, Fortnite etc.

I can play them, however the graphics can't keep up.

I have attached some pics of the internals.

The graphics card is a slot in card.

My budget is under $200 So I was looking to the 1050, 1070 - 1080 at a push.

The questions I have is;

Would any of the above fit into my system or are they a completely different type of card?

I would rather upgrade my PC however, I will not be in the position to do so for a while, and this is a pretty powerful little thing, is it worth it?

Any other advice?

Thanks in advance.

p.s. I have some pics I am not sure I can post them as I am a new member!

Solution
get a 1660 super (its 230$.)
or a 1650 super (I think its 160$)

a 1050 1070 or 1080 are all last gen cards, so youll only find them used or in different marketplaces.

a 1070 is a bit slower than a 1660 super.
so if you can get a 1070 ti or 1080 for 250$ or so i would suggest getting it.

Thanks. Generally speaking, are graphics cards interchangeable in regards to there fitting?

i.e. my 660 looks like it slides in, but some I see online have an 8 pin clip?

The 660 is not a very power hungry card.
check if you have the power connectors for a 1650 or 60 super on your powersupply.

As for the slot, yes they all fit in the same slot
(very old cards used to fit inside an agp slot, but thats much older.)
