So I brought my computer to the shop and the guy says I need a new mother board and power supply.

The processor is an i5 3rd generation. I dont know exactly which one. The video card is nvidia geforce210.

What motherboard, power supply, tower, video card can I get to go with the processor? Should I get a ssd drive also and new video card?

Is $200-$350 enough to get all this stuff?

I want to be able to play games like Dota 2 and do programs like fruity loops also.

Can anyone help me out? Im a total noob with computers. I just dont know what is compatible with what.

If you want to play games then I would definitely recommend getting a new video card, the gt 210 is just about as good as your cpu's onboard graphics. I would go for something like this for your upgrade:

Storage: Kingston SSDNow V300 Series 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($44.39 @ OutletPC)
Video Card: PowerColor Radeon RX 460 2GB Red Dragon Video Card ($104.98 @ Newegg)

You could spend some more to get a better video card or some more ssd storage, but I think that this would give you a pretty balanced build capable of what you need it to do.
