Hi, i just installed speedfan and i wanted to know if someone could explain to me the readings ? What is temp1, temp2, and temp 3 ? On my temp2 it shows a weird reading of -128c and is that a normal reading ? Also where it says gpu it says 63c and there is a fire icon next to it .Should i be concerned about the gpu reading ?

here is a pic of what i mean -

First, you should read this. Be patient, and read again.

Under Section 8: Tools, Note 2:, there is an explanation on what speed fan is reading. It will also tell you that some of the odd readings like the -128C can just be removed.

The fire icon can be adjusted to appear at hight temps. Your GPU temp will probably get higher then that while playing games, but it shouldn't be that high at idle.

I also need help with speed fan readings, so I'm gonna hijack your thread.

I still need to label which reading (Temp1:, Temp2:, Temp3:) is the Tcase temp.. I ran Prime95 for about an hour and found that Temp1: 40
Temp2: 45
Core0: 44
Core1: 43

1. If Tjunction is always higher then Tcase, then Tcase is = to Temp1 RIGHT?

2. Tjunction is = Core0 and/or Core1 RIGHT

This should help the OP too, so thanks in advance.

Thanks for the link..On the gpu readings where it had the fire icon because it said 63 c is kind of strange..I say this because 63c temperature is cool and not warm..For example if you go outside your house and the temp is 63c it will be cool so i dont know why 63c would be a hot reading for a gpu card..
