Hello everyone,
I've finished assembling my PC, configured the BIOS, installed Windows 7 on my 64GB Crucial M4 SSD, updated the drivers etc. Next on my list is to transfer my files from my old PC to my new one. In addition to the SSD, I also have a WD 1TB Caviar Black in my build. Although I have a slight problem. Like the title suggests, I only plan on using the SSD for the OS and programs that I frequently use. As for my other files (music, pictures, videos, games, etc.) will have to go in my HDD. But, my hard drive doesn't have directory folders where I can sort and organize my files. Yes, I know I can just make folders of my own and load all my files in. But is that the correct way? So my questions are, will future programs, that I install in the HDD, be able to work? Because I know some need to access files in the OS drive. Also, if there's another method, rather than creating your own random folders.
Thanks.
