Need Help With SSD

So pretty much I had an ssd I was using for a long time and I haven't been able to get windows on to it, so I eventually got a usb boot drive, took out my HDD, and installed a fresh windows on the SSD. I now have plugged my hdd into the computer again and I can view it and everything on it, but all the programmes and users are not showm. Is there anyway I can easily get all my old settings back and still boot from the ssd?
