CPU: i7 7700k

32gb ram

GPU: aorus 1080ti extreme edition. (not overclocked out side of its factory oc)

PSU: eVGA Full-Modular 850W 80+ Platinum

cpu cooler: kraken x62

Monitor: AOC AGON MNAO-AG241QG 23.8" 1ms 165Hz 2560x1440 G-Sync

The most likely suspect is:

1)Cable
2)Monitor
3)GPU

First try using another cable and another monitor input (if you have that capability). You should always try to use a digital interface (DVI,HDMI, displayport) and avoid using VGA.

Please post your complete system specs for further advice. Especially the monitor, cables, GPU and PSU.

updated the thread. I tried a different screen and same issue guess im gonna have to RMA the card

Before sending the GPU back, try to use another monitor cable or another GPU displayport output and make sure that you are using the latest GPU drivers.

Do the vertical lines appear only in games or also on the desktop ? Try to lower the monitor refresh rate (because those artifacts are often refresh rate related) and check if the vertical lines go away. Usually a bad or dying GPU produces other types of screen artifacts and not what you are currently experiencing.

Finally try to plug the GPU into another PCIe slot on you motherboard. If nothing changes then RMA the card. Good luck.
