Hi,

I used to have an issue that if i get under 120 fps, i feel super laggy even if its by 3 fps, so i thought it was my GPU so i went to buy a 1070 TI and see if it would fix it, it wouldnt i still have it, so im refunding my 1070 and getting back around €500 which will be my budget, id like to spend €300 and maybe buy a RX580 as GPU if the problem doesnt get fixed by replacing mobo, psu.

Currently my PSU cables are super weird, since i use a PCI-E cable into my CPU, thats why im looking for a new one.

I will keep my I7 7700 & 1060 3GB.

I need:
mobo
m2 ssd
psu (modulair pref)

You wont get any performance increases from switching your motherboard.

As you were still getting the issue after swapping your GPU we can rule that out.

The next two culprits i would look at are the CPU and the RAM.

What is your current RAM set up?

Hey,

I used to have 8GB of ram, so we thought that was the problem (2 months ago)
So i went and spend another €100 for 8 more GB, guess what? Didnt even fix a single thing :(.

My CPU is the i7 7700.

Im really clueless, and im so sad about it.
What do you think?

did you by another for the same RAM stick, the exact model match? If so use this guide to check its running dual channel correctly - https://diaryofdennis.com/2012/11/12/how-to-check-if-your-computer-memory-is-running-in-dual-channel-mode/

With super laggy i mean, having 115 FPS and having it feel like 40 also everything feels delayed when i press something, its stuttery.

I play on the Optix MAG24C, which is a 144hz monitor with FREESYNC, which i obviously have disabled.
I also have to cap my FPS because else it feels weird / laggy / delayed so i cap at 120.

Also, i bought the monitor to think that was the sollution, i had this problem on my main 60 hz monitor months back.

I bought exact same RAM, BallistiX, 4x4GB works perfectly fine.
