Need help with video cards

I have a Asus IPIBL-LB motherboard and was wanting to know if this video card would work ZOTAC GeForce® GTX 1050 Ti Mini or if I would be better off with a GTX 750 ti card?

Both will work fine with that Motherboard. Your motherboard has a PCIe x16 slot, therefore it should work fine.

Your other components will dictate how well the GPU works and which GPU to opt for.

The GTX 1050Ti is newer and more powerful, but also slightly higher price tag.Some older components may bottleneck it in certain applications.
The GTX 750Ti is older and not as powerful, but slightly cheaper. Less likely to be bottlenecked by older components in certain applications.

Personally, I'd opt for the 1050 Ti in most cases, but as I said, that also depends on your other components.

Well it's an old CPU. The GTX 1050 Ti will likely be the better card for it. But you may still see the Q6700 struggle in some newer applications.

You'll also need to make sure you have a sufficient PSU (300W is recommended for a general 1050Ti rig).

Either way if you're paying to upgrade a GPU, I'd sooner opt for newer generation (1050Ti), and then upgrade around it at a future date.
