Need help with Windows 7 Aero

So just today i just got a new CPU and motherboard so of course i reinstalled windows 7. Now mostly everything is working fine but i cant seem to get the Aero thing to work (what makes the toolbar transparent etc). I have the same video card as before but now it says GPU is not compatible. But i know it is because it worked on my last Windows 7. Anyone know what i should do?
