my specs are
asus b550 prime plus
ryzen 5 5600x
Aorus Rtx 2080 super
32gb of corsair dominator ram at 3733 MT/s
CRAS c700 rgb NVME ssd 480 gb
Evga 850 gold nova gt power supply
corsair ICUE H100i Elite Capellix xt liquid cpu cooler 240mm

I was playing cyberpunk 2077 i have all my graphics settings almost at max except fog resolution its set to low i have ray tracing enabled using local shadows and raytraced reflections and running at 1080p resolution i get around 46fps to 58fps in some parts of the game then later on the fps drops to around 32fps and stutters when i look in the mirror is this a cpu problem or its the gpu or which graphic configuration you would recommend i try or should i use my 3060 12gb?

Try it.

See what happens.

"some parts of the game"

Use Task Manager and Resource Monitor to observe system performance before, during, and after those "some parts of the game". What changes?

Or any other swaps, configuration changes, etc. that you make.

Be methodical and careful. Make notes: before and after for comparison purposes.

No harm in learning more about what is happening.

Do remember to ensure that all important data is backed up at least 2 x to locations away from the system in question. Verify that the backups are recoverable and readable.

Just in case.....

i mean i dunno because this never happened when i used the 3060 i dunno if its the cpu or the graphics card itself or the drivers what i mean when i say some parts of the game is the cities and open areas like the desert i tried it again with ray traced shadows disabled it didnt stutter or lose frames..

So all was well with the 3060 and when you changed to the 2080 Super the problems began - correct?

My suggestion is to use Task Manager and Resource Monitor to observe system performance while using 2080.

Use both tools but only one tool at a time.

Hopefully you will be able to note some change in resources or resource use when stuttering etc. occcurs.

Take your time, be methodical. If you make changes then change only one thing at a time. Keep good notes.

Then install the 3060 and again observe system performance.

Objective simply being to discover what the system is doing, trying to do, or stops doing when there are stutters.

Then you can apply Performance Monitor and other tools to perhaps delve a bit deeper.

Hopefully just some configuration setting and not some bug or unsupported configuration be it hardware or software.
