I recently installed ati radeon HD 7750.
In the power option i changed the "turn off the display" option to 5 mins and "put the computer to sleep" option to Never. Before the graphics card, my monitor's display had been going to the power saver mode after 5 mins if i keep my pc in ideal state which is normal. 😀
But after the installation of the graphics card, if i keep the pc in an ideal state after 2-3 mins my monitor becomes black and a message "CHECK SIGNAL CABLE" pops up in a blue box which keeps on moving here and there in the screen. :pfff:
After i move the mouse or press any key, the message goes off and the normal desktop comes back in the monitor and find all my left work unchaged and also the downloading is continueing. :heink:
My question is why this message comes and how will i slove the issue so that my monitor goes back to power saver mode after 5 mins in ideal state like normal condition. :??:

Do Reply.
Regards,
Kiddu...!

No problem. Not sure if you were being sarcastic or not but ill assume not. So your saying your monitor is on 24/7? I would recommend getting a new monitor if you can't shut the monitor off. Or just live with the 2-3 min message that pops up. It's honestly nothing to be freaked out or anything. You pc is absolutely fine. Good luck
There is nothing really wrong with this. If you are going to let your pc just sit there and download and stuff, just shut the monitor off and the computer will be right where you left it. There is nothing to be worried about.

Thanks a lot for you valuable time replying to my post. the problem is my monitor's power key broke. 🙁
