Need help.

Guys, i kinda need help. I have no idea what to do, what to buy lol. Here are the options i have;

1) Keep my current motherboard (MSI P6NGM-L), get a new quad processor or any other decent cpu, power supply and a 5770 or something.

2) Get a GA-790XTA-UD4 and a Phenom II X2 550BE, a case and a 450watt power supply and add in like 4gb or 6gb of ram, get a really good cpu cooler to overclock the 550BE to 4.0ghz or something, and get the 5770. Maybe even 2x 5770.

People said i can unlock the 550BE or something, but i don't really get it or know what that is.
I'm at 1920x1080 resolution

Unlocking the 550 while common isn't guaranteed. It would seem the less costly path would be to get a quad for your current board and the 5770. Then you would have a bit more time to educate yourself as to which path you want to go for future upgrades.
